General Hospital Cleaner

Nanyuki referral Hospital is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented General Cleaner to join our support services team. You will help maintain a safe, sanitary, and hygienic environment for our patients, visitors, and medical staff.

Sanitization: Clean and disinfect patient rooms, operating theaters, waiting areas, and restrooms using hospital-approved chemicals. Waste Management: Empty trash bins and safely dispose of medical and general waste following strict safety rules.Floor Care: Sweep, mop, scrub, and polish hospital floors and corridors on a regular schedule. Surface Dusting: Wipe down furniture, door handles, handrails, and medical equipment surfaces without disrupting hospital operations. Safety Reporting: Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or broken fixtures to the supervisor immediately.

Physical Fitness: Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy cleaning equipment for long periods.Soft Skills: Good communication skills, punctuality, and a strong commitment to health and safety standards.

Education: Minimum of a high school diploma (KCSE/Grade 12 or equivalent); relevant certificate in housekeeping is an advantage. Experience: 1+ years of cleaning experience, preferably within a healthcare or commercial facility.
